LPGA/USGA Girls Golf of WNY

The LPGA Foundation supports the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program, which is the leading junior golf program for girls in the country.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) was formed to connect girls, ages 7 to 17, with the game of golf.  A developmental junior golf program and the only national initiative of its kind, Girls Golf presents an opportunity for girls to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships, and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment, preparing them for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game.  Girls Golf is administered through a partnership between The LPGA Foundation and the United States Golf Association (USGA), both non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.

Nearly 5,000 girls participate in Girls Golf at more than 180 sites around the United States. LPGA-USGA Girls Golf was originally established in Phoenix in 1989 by LPGA Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) member Sandy LaBauve and became a national initiative of the LPGA in 1994.

LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Cindy Miller operates the only LPGA-USGA Girls Golf site in Western New York.
