 GIRL'S DISCOVER GOLF

WINTER PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Williamsville Girls Varsity Golf Coaches, Patty Jordan-Smith, Betsy Ulmer and Steve Delisanti are excited to offer a Winter Player

Development Program at Discover Golf and Fitness Center .  This program is designed for any and all players, those who qualified for

sectionals and for those who just want to work on their game in the off season.

For those who have done this in the past our model is a little different this year.  We are taking the fun factor up a notch as well as an

opportunity for game improvement.  We will have a 40 minute group fitness session that focuses on cardio, yoga, stretching and some

fun strengthening exercises – all with a certified fitness instructor trained in golf performance!  The golf part will include 40 minutes on a

golf simulator twice a week; one of the days you will be playing on a course just as if you were in a match or for practice; the other you

will be with Coach PJ practicing short game and using the video simulator.  This is a wonderful opportunity to become more fit in a really

fun environment, learn some mental relaxation techniques, and improve areas of your golf game we do not get to spend time on during the

fall season.

The program runs six consecutive weeks starting March 2, 2010 and ending April 8, 2010. Golf instruction and video analysis will be

conducted by LPGA Professional Patty Jordan-Smith.  All fitness instruction will be conducted by a personal trainer from Discover Golf

and Fitness Center .  We have available space for 12 students that will be filled on a first come basis.
